As I say, as it was a PR invite it's hard to work out what the equivalent would have been if I was paying. But the four-course lunch *is* £60, and I'm sure would have come with most if not all of those canapés. Perhaps a more accurate comparison would be with the £85 private dining menu, which features the berlingots. Still not bad for cooking of this standard.Chris Poplehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02668565800857295023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1588051831069283523.post-76137832615524751832019-02-13T13:52:28.351+00:002019-02-13T13:52:28.351+00:00It all sounded great value from the review. 4 cour...It all sounded great value from the review. 4 course lunch including 6 off-menu appetizers for £60, let me book. Then I looked at the menu on their website - none of the things you had were on the set lunch menu, To order them it would be £80. And then who knows if I would get 6 off-menu appetizers and bread included as well - I think maybe one of them and bread is more likely. Unfortunately, not the bargain that it seemed to be :( - still better than Le Meurice though.

I think your blog is great, and I don't mind you reviewing the free PR meals that you get. But on this occasion I feel you really did imply that this was a meal that was available on the £60 lunch menu.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
